Dear Mayor Filner,
Please allow for the expansion of the SD Convention Center, so that we can keep Comic Con. We must keep comic con! It’s San Diego history, it brings in the money from tourists, and it displays a good part of our culture.
Truly,
Jane

“Winter” never came.
I’m disappointed. Okay, I know I live in San Diego, but can I just get 1 month of rain?! MAKE IT RAIN DAMN IT! I’ve had 25 years of sunshine… I’ll trade someone for Portland until the end of winter break :)

I really want to be having breakfast in Paris right now, feeling all fabulous in a cute white dress, cute pumps, a big hat and some red lipstick. Yeah… and maybe be reading a book I’ve never read before [hmm Lolita] while sipping on some cafe au lait. Later I’d jump onto my brick, red Vespa scooter with wood grain and bronze accents and make my way through the ever-so-romantic-but-cliche Au Champs Elysees. Then, I’d probably decide to spend the rest of my day at Paloma Plage [Paloma Beach], and lounge around in a vintage one piece swimsuit while sipping on some fine champagne with the celebs. But no…. I have the flu, and I’m being all chilly in not-so-San-Diego 60 degree weather, and I have an 8 hr. work day to attend to pretty much all by myself, and the rest of the night to study for a test. Yay! Well,.. here goes my day.
Have a beautiful day everyone, hope it’s much better than mine is!
Truly,
Jane
